MK Glam VoxBox Review!

Hey guys!
As a part of the beauty blog community, I had the opportunity to try out a few products that were sent to me from Influenster :) Since they were so gracious enough to send me these items with no charge, I was asked to review these products for you guys & let you know how if I liked them or not!

The VoxBox this month was sponsored by Mary Kay, which is a beauty brand sold through Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultants. I've never tried anything from Mary Kay before so it was exciting to try these products out :)

The picture to the left is featuring myself wearing everything that came in the MK VoxBox!

Mary Kay Gel Eyeliner with Expandable Brush Applicator in Jet Black & Mary Kay Lash Love Mascara

Mary Kay Gel Eyeliner with Expandable Brush Applicator in Jet Black ($18)

Gel Liner:

  • very smooth & creamy
  • easy to apply
  • doesn't smudge
  • long-lasting
  • expandable blush applicator doesn't apply well

Overall: This was my favorite item from the box & would re-purchase
Mascara:
  • doesn't clump your lashes
  • doesn't flake
  • looks very natural
  • adds length
  • not very voluminous

Overall: I did like the mascara but I would not re-purchase. I like my lashes to have a lot of volume & it doesn't hold a curl for my lashes.

Mary Kay Cream Eye Color in Apricot Twist

Mary Kay Cream Shadow in Apricot Twist ($14)

Cream Shadow:
  • minimal creasing
  • nice golden shade
  • works well as an eyeshadow base
  • easy to apply
  • light/medium pigmentation

Overall: I did like the cream shadow, but would not re-purchase since I don't typically wear eye makeup
    very often.

    Mary Kay Bronzing Powder

Mary Kay Bronzing Powder ($18)
Bronzer:
  • light/medium pigmentation
  • subtle golden sheen
  • doesn't look "muddy" or orange
  • gives a healthy glow to the skin

Overall: I did like the bronzer & would re-purchase.

Mary Kay Cheek Color in Shy Blush
Mary Kay Mineral Cheek Color in Shy Blush ($12)

    Blush:

    • medium pigmentation
    • gorgeous color (very similar to Nars Orgasm)
    • subtle golden sheen
    • long-lasting

Overall: I loved this blush & would definitely re-purchase.

      Mary Kay Translucent Loose Powder

Mary Kay Translucent Loose Powder ($16)

      Loose Powder:

      • controls shine
      • invisible finish
      • doesn't look cakey

Overall: I do really like this product & would probably re-purchase.

Mary Kay Cream Color & Concealer Brush
Mary Kay Cream Color & Concealer Brush ($10)
      Brush:

      • works well for applying the cream shadow
      • works well for concealing blemishes
      • doesn't apply well for under eyes

Overall: It was a nice brush, but I would not re-purchase.

Mary Kay NouriShine Plus Lip Gloss in Mango Tango

Mary Kay NouriShine Plus Lip Gloss in Mango Tango ($14)

    Lip Gloss:
    • slightly sticky
    • light/medium pigmentation
    • bright red/orange shade
    • shiny
    • moisturizing
    • lasts for a decent amount of time

Overall: I did like the lip gloss, but would not repurchase because it's a little pricey.

    XOXO, Sharon
